Supporters of Everton have been airing their dislike for an idea which was raised on social media over how the Premier League season could be finished.
On Monday, @grandoldteam raised the idea that matches could be played out ‘at neutral grounds behind closed doors’, which some supporters hated.
?The 'Goodison' Merseyside Derby, behind closed doors at St James Park.
There's every chance…
Poll: Yes or No? Complete the season at neutral venues behind closed doors. ?https://t.co/DfIKDCGHJy

If it’s behind closed doors why would it have to be at a neutral venue?

And would just encourage 10s of 1,000s of scousers ( no jokes needed) to travel 200 miles and back to party outside the ground. Senseless that !!

Would you back the neutral venues behind closed doors idea? No, terrible ideaYes, could work |
The tweet from @grandoldteam also suggested that the Merseyside derby, which was due to be played at Goodison Park in mid-March (per BBC), could possibly be played behind closed doors at Newcastle United’s St. James’ Park.
However, supporters of the Merseyside club continued airing their dislike for the idea which the Toffees fan account had thought up.
Not a chance ??

What’s rather point in neutral grounds doesn’t make sense

I’d rather see the season cancelled like the Dutch league

What do we think?
As can be seen in these responses from the Goodison Park faithful, the latest idea on how to end the season which was touted by the fan account did not go down well.
However, with Premier League clubs reportedly committed to finishing the season’s remaining games (per BBC), a difficult decision on how the Premier League campaign will be brought to a close will need to be made at some point.
