Nice message, and in a traditionally understated way, like how he took the opportunity to make the point of the NHS being adequately funded, at the end of this period, and beyond.

What do we think?
While Hodgson’s comments appear to have pleased many Palace fans, it is not hard to see why.
The former England manager touches on some very important subjects, including showing recognition for the NHS, his player’s charitable actions, as well as urging all Palace fans to obey the strict government guidelines to help us all get through these challenging times.
All the while, Hodgson comes across with extreme grace and decorum, something which has clearly delighted the Palace fan base.
