Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claim both Palace and Aston Villa are interested in Burnley manager, Sean Dyche.

According to recent reports in The Sun, Palace have been long time admirers of the Burnley boss, and are lining the 48-year-old up as Roy Hodgson’s replacement, while Villa will reportedly make a move for Dyche should they avoid relegation this season.

What do we think?

Since taking over Burnley back in 2012, Dyche has worked wonders for the club, initially guiding them to the Premier League after finishing second in the Championship in the 2013/14 season, before being relegated from the Premier League in 2014/15, and then bouncing straight back to the English top-flight after winning the Championship in 2015/16.

Since then, Burnley have gone from strength to strength under Dyche, finishing 16th in the Premier League in 2016/17, seventh – qualifying for the Europa League – in 2017/18, 15th in 2018/19, and are currently sitting in 10th place this season.

As such, it is no wonder why so many Palace fans would like to see the 48-year-old take the reins of their club.
