Fans of Crystal Palace have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Palace, along with Leicester City, Everton and Sevilla, are keeping a close eye on Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan.
According to reports in Turkish publication Fotospor, Palace are interested in signing the 25-year-old central midfielder, who Turkish-Football.com reported had been scouted by the south London club, along with Everton, back in February.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by CPFC News HQ on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to share their opinions on the potential signing, with many stating that it feels like Palace have been looking at the player for a very long time, albeit with no action, while others have not backed their club to make the signing happen.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on this guy for about 3 years

I have pretty much given up on @CPFC signing anyone but 29-30 year old players that other premier league teams are discarding. So this will never happen.

How long has this guy and Barbosa been linked with us? Feels like since we’ve been in the Premier League! ?

not this again !!!!!! this is old news and we probably wouldn’t buy him unless he was on a free

That’s Palace out of the running then!

Haha! Even if it was just CPFC interested in him, there’s not a chance in hell we would sign him ??

Big young for us yet. We’ll track him for a few years yet, till he is in line with our recruitment policy.

What do we think?
Tufan has impressed for Fenerbahce so far this season, scoring three goals and providing six assists from the centre of midfield in the Super Lig, averaging an impressive WhoScored match rating of 7.16.
The Turkish international is valued at £4.05million (as per Transfermarkt), meaning that should Palace make a move for the 25-year-old, it would not likely break the bank, with Turkish-Football.com reporting that Tufan has a buy-out clause of €20million (£17.6million).
