Crystal Palace-focused Twitter account @PalaceEaglesc0m recently posted a tweet asking Eagles fans whether or not they think German midfielder Max Meyer has got “a sustainable future” at Selhurst Park.
Many Palace fans have flocked to this tweet to share that they don’t think that the 24-year-old has got much of a future at Crystal Palace. Meyer, who has earned four international caps for Germany so far in his professional career, two of which came in World Cup qualification games, has started just six Premier League games for the Eagles this season.
Furthermore, Meyer has failed to make a single goal contribution for Crystal Palace in 546 minutes of Premier League football for the Eagles so far this term, as per WhoScored.com. This may indicate that the German has struggled to perform very effectively for Palace this season.

Does Max Meyer have the ability to be a key player for Crystal Palace?YES, HE'S QUALITYNO, HE IS A WASTE OF POTENTIAL |
Nope, done nothing to prove otherwise. Could be the manager is to blame as with sorloth maybe the league is to tough or maybe a combination of both. Cant see him staying much longer

No. He doesn’t suit the way we set up/play. Potentially another Sorloth though.

Might do well elsewhere but not suited to pals

What do we think?
It may be understandable why some Palace fans have shared that they don’t think that Meyer has got much of a future at Selhurst Park, considering that the 24-year-old has failed to make a single Premier League goal contribution for the Eagles so far this term.
In addition to that, Meyer has earned an average overall rating of 6.21 from his 13 Premier League appearances this season. That rating makes the German, who is currently valued at £7.2m according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Palace’s joint-second lowest rated player for the 2019/20 Premier League season according to WhoScored.
It may be fair to say that Meyer’s recent performances this season might not have impressed many Palace supporters.
