Aston Villa fans have been responding on Twitter to the latest post from Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz.
This comes after the Brazilian shared a post on his official page quote-tweeting a post from @thevillascout that contained a video compilation of Luiz’s highlights for the team this season.
The midfielder quoted this tweet with a fire emoji, a love heart-eyes emoji and a red love-heart emoji.
This post from Luiz then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their own messages to him.

This campaign is Luiz’s debut season at Villa Park since signing from fellow Premier League side Manchester City in the previous summer transfer window for a fee of £15.12 million (per Transfermarkt). Luiz has been a regular figure for Dean Smith so far this season, having only missed two of Villa’s 28 Premier League matches. Now that Luiz has shared this post on his page reacting to his own highlights this season, this has opened the door for lots of Villa fans to share their views on the midfield man.

It’s great to see so many Villa fans being so positive towards Luiz. This shows that they have been impressed with what they have seen from the midfielder so far this season. The hope for these Villa fans now will be that Luiz can improve on what he has done for the club so far and get even better.
