Aston Villa fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest transfer news linking Marvelous Nakamba with a Villa Park exit.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a report by Sabah Spor, who cite an article from Fotomac.
The report claimed that Turkish side Trabzonspor have “identified” Nakamba as a replacement for John Obi Mikel.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were eager to have their say on this latest news.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:

Has Nakamba had a good first season at Villa?
Yes, he's been good
No, he needs to improve
The 26-year-old joined the Birmingham club back in the previous summer transfer window from Belgian side Club Brugge for a fee of £10.8 million (per Transfermarkt). In his first year at Villa, Nakamba is currently the 11th highest-rated player so far with a season rating of 6.6/10 for his 21 Premier League appearances (per WhoScored). Now that it has been reported that Nakamba is being eyed up for a move away from Villa Park, this has paved the way for lots of Vila fans to have their say on the summer signing.
I rate him, doubt we’d let him go

Been arguably our best player other than Jack this year

Finally. His ball retention, vision, general awareness and speed of the game is seriously slacking. Gives the ball away in key areas far to many times. The prem is to fast for him. Yes defensively hes ok. But losing the ball in key areas is huge red flag.

If the season concludes and we were to get relegated, doesn’t matter who they want, they just have to take their pick, if however #AVFC survive then they will have to raise the cash..

What do we think?
Despite Nakamba having yet to register a goal or assist for Dean Smith’s side so far this season, the reaction from these Villa fans at the thought of the midfielder leaving the club just shows how much they like Nakamba.
