Are you proud of Villa for this latest announcement?
Yes
No
Due to the fact that all professional football across the country has been suspended as a result of the current global pandemic, some football clubs have had to take up the government’s furlough scheme to help pay their non-playing staff’s wages. Now that Villa have announced that they will not be using this scheme for their staff and instead have their first-team players, first-team coaches and senior management all take a pay decrease during this period, this news has delighted a lot of fans on Twitter.
Lovely stuff, what a club X

What do we think?
It’s great to see Villa’s first-team players, first-team coaches and senior management all coming together and taking a pay decrease to help others at the club. This act of solidarity has unsurprisingly made a lot of Villa fans proud to be supporters of the club.
