Aston Villa fans have flocked to Twitter to discuss Keinan Davis’ future at Villa Park.
This comes after Villa news Twitter account @AVFC_News shared a post on their page asking their followers if they think the club should give Davis a new contract.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their thoughts on the striker.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:
Should #AVFC hand him a new contract?https://t.co/4q0gKVwHeG

Give him one more year and see what he’s like, if he is injury prone still and not improving we’ll have to move on sadly
— Kai Sims (@KaiSims7) April 2, 2020
Send him out on loan in the championship. If he does well then we can keep him

Maybe a 2 year deal – still not sure what we’ve got in him

Would you give Keinan Davis a new contract?
Yes, keep him
No, get rid
The Englishman, who is currently valued at £2.25 million according to Transfermarkt, has made just eight appearances in the Premier League so far this season after suffering injuries throughout the campaign. Now that the question has been put to these Villa fans on whether or not the striker should continue at the club, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter.
Eh. He’s never fully impressed. He’s a “glimpse player” to me

I honestly don’t know.
Keinan Davis hasn’t really set the world on fire but to be fair he’s been injured a lot.
I would probably offer him a short term contract and take it from there.#avfc #utv— Villain ??????????? (@Villain1982) April 2, 2020
Not fussed on Davis. O’Hare is the one he needs to keep!
— Brian Brogden (@bullysback) April 2, 2020

What do we think?
There seems to be a feeling of uncertainty from these Villa fans towards Davis. His injuries this season appears to be the biggest doubt they have over his future at the Birmingham club. The hope for Davis now would be that he can get a consistent run of games under his belt for Villa and change these supporters opinions on him.
