After suffering back-to-back losses for the first time this season, Rangers responded by beating Ross County in the league. Despite having 63% of the possession, Rangers only managed to win the game 1-0.
After the match the Gers fans would have been relieved to walk away with all three points, with their goal coming late in the 77th minute through Ryan Kent.
However, many fans may have thought that they were watching the Six Nations Rugby instead. During the match, Ross County’s Callum Morris tackled Florian Kamberi to the ground with a rugby-style tackle. Footage of this was shared on Twitter by @Rangers_out.
Which Rangers player would be the best at rugby?
Alfredo Morelos
Allan McGregor
George Edmundson
When this footage was shared, these Gers fans responded. They were peeved at the tackle but still managed to keep their sense of humour.

Now that’s textbook,
Focus on the shorts. An old favourite it seems from junior schools rugby, but still a good way for players to approach a tackle. …Impact with the shoulder. …
Wrap with the arms. …
Eyes open. …

Morelos would have been booked for that.

What do we think?
Who knows, maybe Morris is on course to receive an England or Ireland Six Nations call up. The player was born in England but has Northern Irish citizenship.
Regardless of what his nationality is, the footage above proves that Morris has what it takes to make it as a professional rugby player. Well, a professional rugby player who gives away a lot of fouls, that is.
