If you had asked Rangers fans how their season was going on New Year’s Eve, they would have probably said brilliantly. They had just come off the back of an Old Firm win at Parkhead and were on flying form.
At the time, they would have been on a 15 game unbeaten streak in the league, only drawing two of those games.
Since that day the side have let their grip on the league go. They have played nine league games, losing three and drawing two. This has resulted in the side dropping to 13 points behind Celtic in the standings, who have dropped just two points since losing to Rangers.
Rangers fans have good reason to be frustrated at their players for letting their footing in the league slip.
When former Ibrox star Daniel Candeias tweeted a photo of himself training this week, Rangers fans pleaded with him to come back. They think he could immensely strengthen their squad.
