Some Leeds United fans have been discussing whether Marcelo Bielsa should have got the Manager of the Month award instead of Slaven Bilic.
The Sky Bet Championship official Twitter account has confirmed that Bilic has been crowned the league’s Manager of the Month for February.
But a Leeds fan asked fans if Bielsa should have been given the award instead of Bilic.
Who deserved the Manager of the Month award?
Bielsa deserved it
Bilic deserved it
But some Leeds fans disagreed as they feel the award is a ‘kiss of death’ and they’d rather stay away from its ‘curse’.

The month of February saw Leeds play as many as seven games in the Championship. They lost the first two of the month, enduring losses at the hands of Wigan and Nottingham Forest. They were then held to a draw by Brentford but went on to beat Bristol City, Reading, Middlesbrough and Hull City.
What do we think?
As for West Brom, they also to Wigan themselves and drew one of their fixtures, winning their other five. This shows that they had a better record last month than Leeds and Bilic deserved the award.
While this led to Leeds not winning as many points at West Brom in the month, Bielsa’s men are now at the top of the Championship following last weekend’s results with a one-point lead over the Baggies.
