Who holds the record of having scored the quickest goal in Premier League history?

What do we think?

Funes Mori, who is valued at £5.4 million (as per Transfermarkt), enjoyed a mixed spell during his three seasons with Everton. In his first season, the Argentinian burst onto the scene in Merseyside with some impressive performances. Funes Mori earned an average overall rating of 7.18, according to WhoScored.com, for his performances during the 2015/16 Premier League season.

The centre-back was Everton’s third-highest rated player that season. He also won an average of 2.7 aerials per game according to WhoScored. Only Phil Jagielka won more aerials than the Argentinian centre-back in the 2015/16 season.

Everton fans and Funes Mori both might look back on his final season with the club less fondly. The 29-year-old made just four Premier League appearances during the 2017/18 season. According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, a knee injury kept the centre-back out of action from the 17th of July 2017 until the fourth of February 2018. The 29-year-old was subsequently sold to Villarreal in the summer of 2018.

Despite injury plaguing his final season with the club, it may be fair for some Toffees fans to look back favourably at Funes Mori given the impressive performances delivered by the 29-year-old upon arriving at Goodison Park in the 2015/16 season.
