Fans of Nottingham Forest have been reacting on social media to comments made by Sabri Lamouchi, in which the Frenchman addresses his side’s last 10 fixtures of the season.
Forest have been performing well above pre-season expectations so far this season, with the Reds currently sitting in fourth place in the Championship on 60 points.
However, since Forest defeated Leeds United at the start of February, in which they closed the gap between the two sides to just one point, the Reds have stuttered in their automatic promotion push, managing just one win over their next five games, and slipping eight points behind the second-placed Whites.
With just 10 fixtures left of the season, a play-off position now appears the most likely finish for Forest, and with season-defining matches against fellow promotion hopefuls Fulham and Preston North End still to play, Sabri Lamouchi has called for Forest fans to continue supporting his side in the Championship’s closing stages.
In reaction to Lamouchi’s comments, Forest fans have flocked to Twitter, with many claiming that their side must have no regrets come the end of the season, while others stated it was Forest’s six home games that worried them most in the run-in.

It’s the “six here at The City Ground” that worries me.

The away games will be fine, we’re set up to counter attack. Its at home I’m concerned about as Sabri hasn’t found the right formation OR team selection yet #nffc

What do we think?
Forest are currently in a fantastic position, with their impressive performances throughout the season giving them a sturdy platform to go on and secure one of the four play-off positions at the end of the season.
However, Lamouchi will need to address his side’s apparent lapse in concentration against lower league opposition, as over their previous five fixtures, the Reds have lost to 20th-placed Charlton Athletic, as well as drawing with 14th-placed QPR and 22nd-placed Middlesbrough.
