Some Celtic fans have been left talking about the time when the Hoops had lost 4-0 to St. Mirren under former manager Tony Mowbray.
A Celtic-related page called ‘Tim Trivia’ recently posted about a game from 2010 when they had lost heavily to St. Mirren. The post said that fans back then had become ‘disillusioned’ with Mowbray and had ‘given up hope’ on the former Hoops player.
This post left many Hoops fans also talking about that game. They admitted to the fact that those were tough times for the club and it had left them sad.
Bad times

I remember this result well, I’ve lived through some hard times supporting Celtic, but losing 4-0 to St Mirren is unheard of.

Did the 4-0 loss to St. Mirren make you cry?
I did cry!
I didn't cry!
Terrible night watched this game through my fingers in a boozer in Fochabers

Defence that day was grim, Wilson, Braafheid, Thompson and O’Dea

The XI that day must be one of the worst in our recent history. It would rival the very poor sides of the 90s

The game had taken place in March 2010 and for St. Mirren, Andy Dorman and Steven Thomson had grabbed a brace each on the night. The likes of Ki Sung-Yeung, Aiden McGeady, Georgios Samaras and Paul McGowan had featured for the Hoops.
The Premiership season had seen Rangers win the title, while Celtic had finished six points behind them in the second position. Rangers had a tally of 87 points that season.
What do we think?
The comments of the Celtic fans show that they do remember those times well. But they should focus on the present now, as the Hoops are 13 points clear at the top. They are in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup and have already won the League Cup.
Times are now much better and Celtic fans should derive some joy from it.
