Some Celtic fans have been talking about the recent performance of James Forrest in their Premiership game against St. Mirren.
Forrest was involved in the Hoops’ recent 5-0 win over St. Mirren, as Leigh Griffiths grabbed a hat-trick. But Forrest had started the game in the right wing-back position and played the full 90 minutes at Parkhead.
Was Forrest the MOTM against St. Mirren?
Absolutely
Never, he was poor
After the game, a Celtic-related page called CelticUnderground posted about Forrest’s performance. The post said that Forrest could have got a hat-trick on the day. On reading this, many Celtic fans reacted and made their opinions known.
Thought he made some excellent runs off the ball pulling their defenders out, some folk don’t appreciate that part.

Forrest was close to motm. He benefited from great supply from Bitton and Rogic always available.

Tell that to the row of people behind me. Slag him religiously week in week out and again couldn’t find a good word about him today. Hard to listen to

What do we think?
So far this season, Forrest has made 47 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. He has scored 16 times and also has 22 assists to his name. In the Premiership, he has contributed to 27 goals in just 28 games. For someone who isn’t a striker, those are very good numbers. That is a reflection of how good a season Forrest has had.
