Some Celtic fans have been debating the possibility of the club playing in a European final in the upcoming years.
A Hoops fan recently posted about why he wants the club to play in a European final at some point in the future, while quote-tweeting a post appearing to show a picture of Celtic fans at the UEFA Cup final of 2003. He revealed that he wants ‘that experience’ in his life once again.
This left many Celtic fans talking and they agreed, offering their memories of Celtic’s last appearance in such an occasion in Seville nearly 17 years ago.
With present team and recent European results I think it’s a long way off,but like you I would love it.?

Celtic faced Jose Mourinho’s Porto in that particular final, which game saw Porto win 3-2 in extra time, even though Henrik Larsson had scored two goals on the night. Derlei scored twice for Porto, while Dmitri Alenichev also netted for the Portuguese outfit.
This season’s European campaign for the Hoops saw them reach the Round of 32 stage of the Europa League, where they were knocked out of the competition at the hands of Copenhagen, who beat them at Parkhead in the tie’s second leg.
What do we think?
The comments of the Celtic fans show that they would love another European final. It would help them remember the glory days of the past and make them feel good all over again.
