Some Celtic fans have been left fuming at a tweet that the club sent out during their recent Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 playing session.
Over the weekend, the Celtic Twitter account delivered a running commentary of a virtual PES 2020 game against would-be Premiership opponents, St. Johnstone. One of their tweets particularly irked the Celtic fanbase after saying that St. Johnstone keeper Zander Clark made his ‘one millionth’ save to deny Odsonne Edouard.
Were you happy about Celtic's PES 2020 Twitter posts?
I loved it
It was pointless
This tweet didn’t leave too many Celtic fans happy. They made their displeasure known in the comments section.
One million? Really Celtic? That would mean 520 saves a second. I think you’re exaggerating.

The ‘game’ against St. Johnstone ended 4-0 in Celtic’s favour, Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths each scoring a brace.
The club’s match report had mentioned Griffiths as the website’s man of the match for the game.
What do we think?
The weekend’s virtual simulation of their postponed clash seemed to be all a bit of fun, considering there is no football because of the ongoing Premiership suspension. Due to the circumstances, the club’s social media account decided to do something to interact with the fans. Keeping that in mind, the tweet about the St. Johnstone goalkeeper perhaps should not have been taken too seriously.
