Some Celtic fans have been hailing their summer signing Hatem Abd Elhamed on his birthday.
Elhamed was celebrating his birthday on Wednesday and the Celtic Twitter account wished the Israeli well on the day. They posted pictures of the defender along with the original post.

Elhamed had joined Celtic from Israeli club Hapoel Be’er Sheva on a four-year contract for a fee of £1.6 million.
Since arriving, the defender has made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops. Only five of them have come in the Premiership, with the defender suffering a muscle injury earlier in the season and it had kept him out for 25 games.
He recently returned to the first-team and played nine minutes against St.Mirren in the club’s 5-0 win in the Premiership. He also earned an assist in that game.
What do we think?
Per Transfermarkt, Elhamed is capable of playing at centre-back and at right-back, making him a valuable utility player in the side. Because of his versatility, his presence could come in handy for the remainder of the season. Celtic fans in the comments do seem to know his value to the team.
