Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reacting to a tweet from Tim Spiers on the club’s on-loan defender, Ryan Bennett.
Following the announcement of Leicester City’s squad on Monday night (per Leicester City), Tim Spiers relayed it and stated that Bennett had not been involved in a single squad since his move to the King Power Stadium, which had fans wanting him recalled.
Ryan Bennett has yet to appear in a single matchday squad for Leicester since moving on loan https://t.co/PPT0u7poqL

Might just as well come back then.

Great, do you reckon he fancies a trip to Athens? I know of some flights and hotel going.

Would you be happy to see Ryan Bennett return to Molineux at the end of the season?Yes, he was a solid back up for usNo, I'd rather have the £5 million |
The centre-back made the move to the Foxes from Wolves on transfer deadline day, in a loan move which has a clause that could make the move become permanent for £5 million (per Express and Star).
However, with the 30-year-old not having made a single appearance for Brendan Rodgers’ side since his arrival in Leicester (per Transfermarkt), fans felt that they would likely be seeing Bennett back at Molineux.
Strange, he left to get game time? ?

That obligation to buy based on appearances looks unlikely doesn’t it Tim?

Should have stayed at wolves

What do we think?
It seems a strange assumption in the first place that a player who was only sporadically featuring for Wolves (per Transfermarkt), would leave for a team higher in the Premier League table on loan to get more game time (per BBC).
However, this one seems to have come as a bit of a shock to some Wolves supporters, who seem as though they would be happy to see Bennett return to Molineux at the end of his loan.
