Many Wolves fans have been praising Daniel Podence on social media recently, with some Wolves supporters calling for the club to ‘play him more’ following his recent displays.
Podence got just 19 minutes of game time in Wolves’ 0-0 draw with Brighton last Saturday, being introduced to the game as a late second-half substitute for Diogo Jota. However, despite Podence’s efforts, Wolves were unable to get on the scoresheet and the game finished scoreless.
While Wolves ultimately failed to break Brighton down, Podence managed to impress some Wolves supporters with his cameo this past weekend. The Portuguese attacker took one shot at goal and made one key pass during his time on the pitch.

Podence is a serious player though. Ability to play 10, central and wide is crazy and his on ball ability seems to be getting better each game

What do we think?
Podence is yet to start a single Premier League game for Wolves, having made just four substitute appearances for the club thus far in the league since signing for them in the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old, who cost Wolves a reported £16.6 million, according to the BBC, has started just one of the six games he has played in so far for his new club. The Portuguese attacker’s only Wolves start came in their 3-2 Europa League loss to RCD Espanyol, a game in which he made his first Wolves goal contribution by earning an assist.
Given Podence’s success in his one start so far for his new club, it may be understandable why some Wolves supporters would like to see the 24-year-old play more often.
