Supporters of West Ham United have been drooling over footage of Jarrod Bowen from the victory over Southampton which was shared to the club’s official Twitter account.

On Saturday night, the Hammers posted footage of the 23-year-old’s goal against the Saints to their Twitter account (per West Ham), which gave supporters the chance to gush.

Is Jarrod Bowen going to be a pivotal player if the Hammers are to beat the drop?

Yes, he will be absolutely key

The goal against the Saints was his first goal for the East London club and the Englishman’s 18th of the season, having bagged 17 for Hull City (per Transfermarkt).

After bagging a goal in the clash which saw David Moyes’ side pick up three points (per BBC), Bowen was awarded a 9/10 performance rating (as per Football.london), which left fans keen to wax lyrical.

What do we think?

With the goal coming in Bowen’s first start for the Irons, the 23-year-old may have proved that Moyes was wrong to leave the attacker on the bench in his first two appearances for West Ham (per Transfermarkt).

Having arrived for a fee of £22 million on transfer deadline day (per The Guardian), hopefully, the Englishman can continue to pay back the outlay it took to seal his arrival from the Tigers.
