While Cresswell was slated, the defender has completed the third-most passes on average in the squad in the Premier League, with an impressive 40.9 per game (per WhoScored).

However, the defender does have the 12th-worst pass completion percentage in the squad, with 74.8% on average in the league (per WhoScored), leaving fans slating the 30-year-old.

What do we think?

While the original tweet labelled Cresswell as the holder of the ‘lowest cross completion’ percentage for a full-back in the Premier League, that is not entirely true as he has the joint-second lowest (as per Squawka).

Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka actually has the lowest, with 12%, and Cresswell is joint with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, who also has 13.9%, for the second-worst (per Squawka).
