Some West Ham fans have been reacting with admiration to footage of ‘class act’ Pablo Zabaleta speaking with 19-year-old Jeremy Ngakia.

West Ham’s official YouTube channel recently posted a video featuring Zabaleta and Ngakia, in which the two players analyse the 19-year-old’s performance in West Ham’s recent trip to Anfield.

Ngakia has made just four first-team appearances for the Hammers according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, making his debut in West Ham’s recent 2-0 loss at home to Liverpool, which took place on 29th January.

The 19-year-old’s next Premier League appearance came on 24th February, also against Liverpool, in their recent Anfield clash – a game in which Ngakia started at right-back.

West Ham’s official Twitter account recently posted a tweet which shares a clip of Zabaleta praising Ngakia’s latest performance versus Liverpool. The 35-year-old praised Ngakia for delivering an impressive performance at Anfield before asking him if Sadio Mané was in his back pocket.

What is the highest position that West Ham have finished in the top flight during the Premier League era?

What do we think?

It may be fair to say that Ngakia delivered an impressive performance in his recent appearance at Anfield. The 19-year-old made an impressive total of five tackles and three interceptions in West Ham’s 3-2 loss to Liverpool.

Considering how gracious Zabaleta appears in his praise of the young right-back, it may be understandable as to why some West Ham fans have reacted positively to the footage that was recently posted of the exchange between the two players.
