A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to a tweet from Adam Pope – as he shared a post from Nottingham Forest that confirmed that their players have tested negative for coronavirus.
The Forest players and staff had to test for the virus after their owner Evangelos Marinakis was confirmed to have caught the virus.
However, this update from Pope has gone down well with these Leeds fans who are happy to get on with the season.

Other Whites supporters, though, are not convinced.
And then in a weeks time they’ll be positive….takes 10 days after contact to be in your system
— Lee ?? (@LeedsunitedLee) March 11, 2020
I don’t think we’ve heard the last of this.

If they are saying it can take 2 to 14 days to appear how can they be certain they are clear after 4 days !!

What do we think?
Marinakis, who also owns Olympiacos, was diagnosed with the infection on the 10th of March.
Is this a good update from Pope?
Yes, it is a positive update
No, it doesn't really prove anything
As a result of that, Arsenal’s trip to Manchester City was postponed because some of their squad came into contact with Marinakis.
However, this latest update could be considered good news for the rest of the Championship season.
The club though, did not make any mention of their upcoming game against Sheffield Wednesday – so the rest of the league will just have to wait to see what further developments take place.
