i would actually love this

Actually to be honest, he’d be an excellent addition. He still brings depth to Dortmund but no longer a first teamer. Could maybe be made into a holding midfielder to replace Noble

Yes please,,

Would you be happy if West Ham signed Mario Gotze in the summer?Yes, would be a good additionNo, we need better than him |
This season, the attacking-minded midfielder has been his current club’s seventh-worst performer in the Bundesliga with a weak 6.49/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
To earn the rating, Gotze has netted three goals and no assists in 13 league outings (per WhoScored), so, while some fans were keen on the signing others were less enthusiastic.
No thanks

always injured and asks for loads in wages? he’s exactly what we’re after ???
— Ant Scriv (@AntScriv) March 29, 2020
But why is someone who once scored the winner in a World Cup final and who Bayern Munich signed as the most expensive German of all time now being linked with West Ham at the age of 27? Something has gone very wrong in his career & he’d be yet another huge risk on big wages.

What do we think?
While some fans were excited about this one and others not so much, Rummenigge only suggested that the 27-year-old could be joining a club ‘like’ the Hammers (per SPORTBUZZER).
So, unfortunately for those who were keen and perhaps not so much for those who were not, the transfer talk is not hard enough evidence to draw a strong link between the club and the player just yet.
