Spurs fans were delighted to hear that their club are being linked with a move for Benfica left-back Alejandro Grimaldo ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Portuguese news outlet A Bola (via Marc BA), Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing the Spanish defender to the North London club ahead of next season. So far this season, the 24-year-old has averaged an impressive 7.45 rating for his performances in Liga NOS; having contributed six assists.
With Danny Rose having been sent on loan to Newcastle United in the January transfer window and Ben Davies having struggled with injuries this season, it is no surprise to see the Lilywhites being linked with the £31.5 million rated left-back.

These Spurs fans clearly seem keen on the potential signing of Grimaldo in the summer transfer window.
What do we think?
Grimaldo has impressed with his performances in Liga NOS this season and could potentially be a long-term replacement for Danny Rose. With Ryan Sessegnon having struggled as a left-back at times this season, bringing in someone in that position looks to be a priority for the Portuguese manager.
