Spurs fans have been reacting to some quotes from Heung-Min Son where he discusses the fractured arm he suffered in the 3-2 win against Aston Villa last month.
The South Korean forward was injured early on in the game at Villa Park, but stayed on the pitch for the full 90 minutes and scored an injury-time winner to give Jose Mourinho’s side all three points. In an interview with the club’s official website earlier this week, he spoke about the injury, saying:
“I kept playing, I don’t know how. I could feel it in the game, yes, but it was so important, I didn’t want to say I couldn’t play because of my arm and tried to keep going to help the team. I’m doing very, very well though.” (via The Spurs Web)
Mourinho suggested that the 27-year-old’s injury was potentially a season-ending one, but with the Premier League currently suspended, he could well return by the time top-flight fixtures resume.
Is Son a Spurs legend?

These Spurs fans clearly love that Son stayed on the pitch despite his injury and put the team first.
What do we think?
It is impressive that Son was able to play much of the game against Villa with the fractured arm, and considering he has 16 goals in all competitions this season, Spurs fans will no doubt be delighted to see the £72 million-rated man back in the side when football does resume.
