Spurs fans have been reacting to some quotes from Paulo Gazzaniga, in which he admits his desire to play in Argentina.
The 28-year-old admitted on Argentinian radio FM 94.7 (with quotes transcribed by Explica), that: “I’m a fan of Boca Juniors, I said it several times. I would like to play in Argentina. I have a contract, it’s difficult now. But it’s a wish in my career.” (via The Spurs Web).
So far this season, the former Southampton ‘keeper has averaged a 6.65 rating across 18 appearances in the Premier League, having had to fill in for first-choice Hugo Lloris whilst the Frenchman recovered from his elbow injury. The Argentinian international has now made 37 appearances for the Lilywhites since joining in 2017.

These Spurs fans clearly don’t seem too fussed about the idea of Gazzaniga leaving, with many hoping to see him leave as soon as possible.
What do we think?
With Michel Vorm likely to leave in the summer when his contract expires, Spurs will need to keep hold of a back-up keeper to Lloris, so it would perhaps be unlikely to see Gazzaniga leave as early as this summer.
