What do we think?
Diangana, who joined West Brom on loan from West Ham United in the 2019 summer transfer window, has scored five goals and made six assists in his 21 Championship appearances this season according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Only four Baggies players have scored more Championship goals than Diangana this season. This is despite the 21-year-old featuring in just two of the Baggies’ last 15 Championship games, playing a combined total of just 24 minutes in that time according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Diangana suffered a hamstring injury in the Baggies’ 3-2 win over Birmingham City on the 14th of December which subsequently ruled him out for the following four Championship games. After making a substitute appearance in West Brom’s 2-2 draw with Charlton Athletic on the 11th of January, the 21-year-old started the Baggies’ clash with Stoke City on the 20th of January, however, he was withdrawn after just four minutes, with Baggies manager Slaven Bilic confirming after the game that the loanee suffered “another hamstring” injury.
While Diangana hasn’t featured a great deal for the Baggies in 2020 thus far, it may be fair to say that the young attacker may have made a positive impression on some West Brom fans with some positive performances in the Championship this term, judging by their positive reactions to this recent post from the club’s official Twitter account.
