Spurs fans have been discussing the future of Harry Kane in the wake of Sunday’s 3-2 defeat against Wolves, with several suggesting that the England international could soon be on his way out of the North London club.
A post from a Spurs fan on Twitter has gathered a lot of responses from fellow supporters after he suggested that next season will most likely be the 26-year-old’s last at the club. Although he can boast an incredible scoring record, having contributed 181 goals in 278 games for the Lilywhites, he is yet to win a trophy with Spurs, with their last honour a League Cup triumph in 2008.
Therefore, if Spurs fail to win a trophy again this season, it would arguably not be a surprise to see Kane move on and try his luck elsewhere, although, as he is currently valued at £135 million by Transfermarkt, you imagine it would take a huge bid to prise him away.
Do you think Kane will leave Spurs in the near future?

Might even go this summer. Wouldn’t be surprised.

No one can blame him. Guys to good not to win anything. As much as it hurts I want him to win everything even if not with us. Will always love him

This season will be his last season.

Poor guy deserves a proper team, I’ll be happy for him when he leaves after next season. I want to see the guy break all the records and win a couple of titles.

If harry doesn’t see MAJOR investment in the team he will be gone in January

I fear this will happen… he wants to win trophies, wouldn’t blame him at all… just a matter of time before he leaves..

These Spurs fans seem convinced that Kane will leave the club in the near future unless Mourinho is trusted with a serious rebuild ahead of next season.
What do we think?
Despite having been injured for the past two months, Kane is still Spurs’ top scorer this season and if they do sell him, they may need to make sure they replace him appropriately, or the next few years could prove to be a real struggle.
