Spurs fans have been discussing some footage of Gedson Fernandes working hard in the gym, despite the Premier League having been suspended.
The Spurs Web shared the footage of the Portuguese midfielder on a treadmill, suggesting that he is working hard to stay at full fitness. The 21-year-old, who joined Spurs on an 18-month loan from Benfica in the January transfer window, has made just two starts for the North London club so far this season.
In his four appearances from the bench in the Premier League, the youngster has struggled to have much of an impact, averaging a disappointing 6.21 rating. It was perhaps a surprise to see him join Spurs on loan, considering he had made just two starts in Liga NOS with Benfica this season before the move.

These Spurs fans were clearly happy to see Fernandes working hard in the gym and will surely be hoping to see him have a positive influence on the rest of the season, should it resume.
What do we think?
It is good to see Fernandes not resting on his laurels and keeping up his fitness and perhaps with a full pre-season under his belt, Spurs fans will get to see a lot more from the £13.5 million-rated man next season.
