With the Premier League currently being suspended, there has been a debate in regards to whether or not Liverpool should be crowned champions in the event that the remaining fixtures cannot be played.
There are some who have called for the season to be voided, most notably, West Ham United’s Karren Brady and therefore the discussion continues to rage on.
Would it be fair to award Liverpool the Premier League title?
Yes
No
Recently, Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth, Kaveh Solhekol and Bryan Swanson discussed the matter live on television and here is how some of the Liverpool feel about the subject.
Guys loaded on logical fallacies there.
All major statistical companies that run predictors give us a 100% chance of winning the league. Pep Guardiola conceded the title in an interview. “Giving us” the title isn’t remotely contentious.

I’m a Liverpool fan & I kind of agree with him. How can you give us the title if we haven’t won it? Say you stop it at 28 games, well no one signed up for that, did they? Fairest resolution I heard is play remaining games at start of next season & reduce league games next season

What do we think?
The Reds are currently 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League and were closing in on their first championship victory since the 1989/90 season. In our opinion, there is no doubt Jurgen Klopp’s side are deserving of the title but if you are to award them with the trophy who do you relegate, promote and give the European places to?
