Spurs fans have been reacting to a tweet from Christian Eriksen following the Nations League draw which saw Denmark and England put in the same group.
The former Spurs midfielder quoted Harry Kane’s tweet regarding the draw with a Danish flag and shifty eyes emoji, with the two former teammates set to face each other at the competition in September. The 28-year-old left the North London club during the January transfer window to join Inter, having made 305 appearances for the Lilywhites during his spell with the Premier League side.
The former Ajax man’s relationship with fans was alienated somewhat in his final months with the club, as he first confirmed his desire to leave last summer, which led to a drawn-out transfer process that eventually saw him join Antonio Conte’s side. His performances certainly dropped off in that period, with the creative midfielder averaging a disappointing 6.51 rating for his displays in the Premier League.
Do you think Eriksen could ever return to Spurs?

Some Spurs fans clearly miss Eriksen but others appear to be less than pleased with the midfielder.
What do we think?
Eriksen will have the chance to face several of his former teammates at the competition in September, with the likes of Kane and Alli potentially featuring, whilst Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen could represent Belgium, who have also been drawn in their group.
