Spurs fans have been reacting to some old quotes from Harry Kane regarding his future at the club.
The England captain spoke to the Sun back in 2017, saying: “Football for me isn’t about money. I’m at Tottenham because I love this club… Everyone knows I’m a Spurs fan.” The Spurs Web have re-posted these quotes on Twitter, which has encouraged some fans that the 26-year-old won’t be leaving the Lilywhites this summer, despite recent reports linking him to Juventus and Manchester United.
After the FA confirmed that it is their priority to finish the current season, it now seems as if Jose Mourinho’s side will be without Champions League football next season, unless they can produce a huge turnaround to finish in the top-four spots. Therefore, as much as the 26-year-old may claim to love Spurs, it would not be a surprise to see him join a side playing in the Champions League ahead of next season.
Would you blame Kane if he wanted to leave this summer?

These Spurs fans have clearly been buoyed by Kane’s quotes, even if they were from 2017.
What do we think?
You wouldn’t blame the 26-year-old for wanting to leave this summer, as he is yet to win a trophy in his career with Spurs, despite having contributed an incredible 181 goals in 278 games.
