Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold did a mini Q and A session with Spurs fans on Twitter this week, in which he discussed a potential move for QPR ace Eberechi Eze.

The North London club have been heavily linked with a move for the 21-year-old in recent weeks, which led to a Spurs fan asking Gold’s opinion on the Championship ace. He replied in his article, saying:

“He’s a really exciting young prospect and Spurs have been watching him for some time. They also have a good relationship with QPR, with Jack Clarke and Luke Amos there on loan currently. However, there’s going to be a bit of a scramble for Eze in the summer and it could well come down to which side is going to play him the most. Can Tottenham offer him regular first-team football next season?” per Football.London (Live blog, 17:22, 17/03/2020)

TIF Tactics:

So far this season, Eze has been in superb form for QPR; averaging a 7.45 rating for his performances in the Championship, having contributed 12 goals and eight assists. Considering Spurs lost Christian Eriksen in the January transfer window, who for so long had been a key contributor of goals and assists in the North London side, perhaps Eze could be the man to replace the Danish international.

How well do you remember Spurs' run to the Champions League final last season? - Which of these teams weren't in Spurs' group?

The England U-21 international completes on average three dribbles per league game and contributes 1.9 key passes, so clearly has a lot of attacking potential. The creative midfielder is currently valued at £9 million, so it will be interesting to see if Spurs can win the race to sign him this summer.
