Some Southampton fans have been talking about the latest club update involving Jack Ma being interested in taking over.
A Saints-related Twitter page called ‘The Saints Centre’ posted a rumour on social media, saying that Jack Ma is prepared to buy Southampton before this summer. The post went onto say that Ma is only interested in buying 100 percent of the club for a fee of £250 million.
Do you want Jack Ma to takeover at Southampton?
I'd love that
Not another Chinese
This post got a reaction out of many Saints fans. They had different things to say about it.

I prefer Red Bull, they proven they can develop football clubs + players, while building on what is already in place. I wouldn’t want someone to come in, just spend silly money. I want to see a project Ive watched since I can remember to develop and get to where it can/should be

Doesn’t matter how rich he is, under Chinese government rules he isn’t allowed to take money out of the country.

What do we think?
While the Times have said that Southampton are on sale, but the Daily Echo have said that the club ‘isn’t officially’ up for sale. This shows that there is still uncertainty about what exactly is going on. This rumour from the Twitter page is another indicator that things aren’t quite clear for anyone. It is time to wait and watch for any more credible updates.
