The 25-year-old is currently on a season-long loan deal at the Tyneside club from German club Eintracht Frankfurt (per Transfermarkt). In his 20 appearances for the club in all competitions so far this season, Willems has earned himself a season rating of 6.84, making him Newcastle’s sixth-best player this campaign according to WhoScored. Now that the left-back has tweeted his support of Saint-Maximin’s post, many Newcastle fans have taken this opportunity to share their admiration for the on-loan man.
