A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to post from the Evening Chronicle asking them if they would like Freddie Woodman back at the club next season.
Woodman, who is valued at £3.6m by Transfermarkt, is currently on loan at Swansea City, where he has kept 10 clean sheets and also made three penalty saves, so his form has got these Toon fans talking.
Indeed, the goalkeeper is a rather forgotten figure at St. James’ Park, with his last appearance for the Magpies coming back in January of 2019.
Do you think Woodman will be back at Newcastle next season?
Yes, as he will replace Dubravka
No, Newcastle will keep Dubravka and loan Woodman out again
Some Newcastle supporters believe that he will be back at the club next season because they will sell Martin Dubravka and be in the Championship.

Dubravka will be off to a team with ambition, so yes I’d have him back
— Robbo (@Robbo_the_rhino) March 1, 2020
Aye, when a Dubravka is purchased by a more ambitious club, which is nailed on.

Other Toon fans want to know what he is like upfront.
Depends. What’s he like up front?
— Middle Age Fanclub (@grahamcrosby) March 1, 2020
Is he going to score 20 goals for the team? No.. what he should do is try and stay away as long as he can because this club is going nowhere.

What do we think?
Some very negative responses from many Toon fans here, and who can blame them?
The Magpies are the lowest goalscorers in the division and have won one of their last 10 league games.
In terms of Woodman, he has done quite well for the Swans this season, earning an average match rating of 6.67, according to WhoScored.
Considering he is just 22, it is unclear what the best step for him would be next year.
Could it be a season on loan at a Premier League club, or could he be brought in as a backup to Dubravka?
Judging by the reaction of these Newcastle fans, they think he will be starting for them in the Championship.
