A lot of Leeds United fans have responded to Phil Hay’s latest piece that includes details of what Marcelo Bielsa did after Nottingham Forest beat the Whites.
The Athletic reporter claims that Bielsa ditched his usual video analysis session and instead gave a rousing speech that received a big round of applause, and since that moment, the Whites have drawn one and won the other four.
Do you think this talk has contributed to Leeds' upturn in form?
Yes, he has obviously inspired the players
No, they have just started playing better
Forest beat Leeds on the 8th of February, and at that point, the gap between Leeds and third was nothing.
The Whites were in the automatic promotion places because of goal difference alone.
The table now looks a lot healthier for Leeds with Bielsa’s side five points clear of Fulham.
However, these Leeds fans love the fact Bielsa made this speech, and they are gushing over the Argentine.
After Leeds United's loss at Nottingham Forest, Marcelo Bielsa shelved his usual video analysis session and gave his squad a rousing speech instead.
It got a big round of applause and Leeds have flown since then; the right intervention at the right time:https://t.co/nPOjzL7Gok

A great read. He’s far more tactile with his players than last year. Maybe that’s what was missing…That human side, that hug or quiet word. He’s clearly changed and to great effect

Clearly that endorses why he’s rated as one of the best coaches in the world. Knowing what action to take and when to take it. ??

What do we think?
Leeds were in a bit of trouble earlier this year as they lost four of five league games (From 11th of January to 8th of February) and looked to be wobbling.
However, their response has been superb, and they have won four league matches in a row and have not conceded a goal in any of those.
The question is, can they keep up this form?
