A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to an article claiming that Qatar Sports Investments is interested in acquiring the Toon.
The article reports that the current PSG owners and Mike Ashley are locked in talks and that a ‘decision will be revealed in the coming weeks’.
It should be noted that these are uncited claims and are doubted by some.
This, however, has not gone down well with these Toon fans, who do not believe any of it.

What do we think?
In the current climate, we are not sure an article like this is appropriate, with much more important things taking priority amid the ongoing pandemic.
Do you believe this story?
Yes
No
However, it is well-documented that QSI wants to invest in an English side, though most reports seem to think that they will be investing money in Leeds United rather than Newcastle.
Given the fact that every takeover attempt has failed thus far, we would urge caution on this and would advise Newcastle fans to focus on other things.
It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this story, but for now, we don’t see the point in thinking about it.
