Newcastle: Fans react to George Caulkin’s takeover update

A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a tweet from George Caulkin with his view on the takeover.

The Athletic reporter has included a piece in his tweet that has provided a detailed overview, and he seems to believe that a takeover of Newcastle is edging closer.

Someone in the replies suggested that this piece was PR, but Caulkin categorically denies that it is because he does not speak to Mike Ashley’s camp, and Amanda Staveley has been working on the deal for almost a year.
