Supporters of Everton have been reacting to a club post on the Toffees’ official Twitter account with quotes from Gylfi Sigurdsson.
On Monday afternoon, the Merseyside club posted quotes from the Icelandic midfielder in which he discussed ‘adapting to change on and off the field’ (as per Everton), which had some fans slating the middleman.

Would you be happy to see Gylfi Sigurdsson sold by the Toffees in the summer?Yes, he's not good enough sadlyNo, he's a useful player for us |
During this season, the 30-year-old midfielder has been the tenth-best performer for the Toffees in the Premier League, with a 6.68/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
However, following the Toffees’ post to social media, many supporters were keen to continue slating the £25.2 million-rated man (per Transfermarkt).
Oh you a fool for this one

What do we think?
While Sigurdsson has been the tenth-best performer for the Toffees in the Premier League, he has bagged only one goal and two assists over 26 appearances (per WhoScored), which is the likely cause of supporters’ discontent.
As can be judged from the responses, it is clear to see that many of the Goodison Park faithful are frustrated with their Icelandic international’s performances in Everton blue.
