Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Manchester City could attempt to lure Lautaro Martinez to the club this summer.
Martinez, who currently plays for Italian giants Inter, has been in fine form for the Nerazzurri so far this season, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists in 22 Serie A appearances, in addition to five goals in six Champions League fixtures.
The £72 million-rated centre-forward has averaged a WhoScored match rating of 7.12 throughout the league this season, as well as an impressive 7.36 match rating in the Champions League.
He has been linked with a summer move to Barcelona, with the Catalan club even reportedly agreeing on a fee with Inter, as well as wages with the player, according to Calciomercato.
However, according to recent reports in Sport, Manchester City have now also thrown their hat into the ring for Martinez’s signature.
In reaction to the news, which was relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, fans of Manchester City have been keen to voice their opinions on the matter, with contrasting results as to whether they would like to see the player make the move to Manchester this summer.
Any approach from Barcelona for Lautaro Martínez will see them face ‘great danger’ from Manchester City.
The ‘man problem’ for Barcelona comes from the Premier League, and City or Chelsea have presented a ‘totally off-market offer’.

Off market offer? The man has a buyout and Barca have higher wage bills isn’t it them who make the off market offers?

What do we think?
Manchester City are facing what is likely to be an uncertain summer transfer window.
With the club’s impending two year ban from European competitions, Pep Guardiola faces what is likely to be a challenge in persuading players who are wanted by numerous clubs, such as Martinez, to join City over a club who could offer the player Champions League football.
