Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that City are interested in Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
Aouar has been in fine form for French side Lyon so far this season, with the central midfielder scoring three goals and providing four assists in his 25 Ligue 1 appearances.
As a result of his impressive performances, Italian publication Corriere dello Sport has reported that the likes of Juventus, PSG and Manchester City would all be keen on a summer move for the 21-year-old.
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, the opinions of Manchester City fans have been somewhat split over the interest in the Frenchman, with some claiming the club should do all they can to sign Aouar, while others believe that City would be better off investing their money elsewhere.
Paris Saint-Germain are ‘moving decisively’ for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar (21), despite admiration from Manchester City.
Lyon president, Jean-Michel Aulas, has fixed a price at around €70m.

What do we think?
The £49.5million-rated Aouar particularly impressed during Lyon’s Champions League campaign this season, in which the midfielder scored one goal and provided three assists over his five appearances in the competition, while averaging a remarkable WhoScored rating of 7.73.
With David Silva leaving Manchester City this summer, Pep Guardiola will have a spare slot in the middle of the park to fill. However, whether Aouar is the player Guardiola believes can fill Silva’s outgoing shoes will be seen in the coming months.
