Chris Kavanagh will take charge of Chelsea versus Liverpool in the FA Cup fifth-round tie at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night. Kavanagh most recently officiated the Premier League draw between Everton and Manchester United at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon – a game in which the hosts were denied a late winner by a somewhat controversial offside decision.
These Liverpool supporters have been discussing his appointment and judging by their comments, it’s safe to say they’re not at all pleased by his selection.

What do we think?
Incidentally, Chris Kavanagh has only taken charge of six Liverpool games in his entire career and the Reds have won all six of them. Therefore, based on his previous record, it seems there is nothing for the Anfield faithful to be worried about heading into this cup tie.
