Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest news surrounding former Red Philippe Coutinho.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally published in a report by The Mirror.
The report claimed that the Brazilian has “privately admitted to friends that he should never have left” the Reds.
They also added that Coutinho’s stint in England has been “described as “the happiest of his career” and a return to the Premier League is his main objective” for the former Red.

The 27-year-old, who is currently valued at £63 million according to Transfermarkt, first joined the Merseyside club back in January 2013 for a fee of £11.70 million (per Transfermarkt). During his five years at Anfield before leaving in a huge money move to Barcelona in 2018, Coutinho managed to score 54 goals and provide 45 assists in 201 appearances for the club.
Now that it has been reported that the Brazilian has claimed he made a mistake in leaving Liverpool when he did, this has caught the attention of a lot of Liverpool fans who have taken this opportunity to slate their former man.
