Many Liverpool fans have been discussing a clip from Sky Sports that followed their victory over Manchester City back in January 2018. The Reds won the game 4-3 with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah all scoring (BBC Sport).
The clip was shared on Twitter via @LFCLaurie with the caption ‘Sky Sports will struggle to ever top this video. Goosebumps.’ Here is how some of the Anfield faithful have reacted to the post.
After a season of ups and downs and then selling Coutinho and buying van Dijk right before this match, it was the true start of something special for this group of players under Klopp. Few games have made me enjoy football more than this one.

What do we think?
Judging by the responses of these fans, it’s a game that will live long in their memories. Jurgen Klopp’s side scored three goals in nine minutes to race 4-1 ahead but were forced to hold on at the end when the visitors scored twice in the closing stages (as per BBC Sport).
That was Liverpool’s first game since selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for £130.5m and in beating Manchester City, ended their hopes of going the season unbeaten whilst extending their own run without a defeat to 18 games.
