Liverpool fans have been going wild on Twitter over recently posted footage of Philippe Coutinho’s goal against Manchester United back in 2016.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @TheRedmenTV shared a post on their page that included a video originally published by @EuropaLeague of Coutinho’s goal at Old Trafford in the last 16, second leg match in the Europa League during the 2016/17 season.
Do you miss having Philippe Coutinho at Liverpool?

This post then gathered a number of replies from Liverpool fans who were delighted to see this goal footage once again.

The footage shows the former Liverpool man pick the ball up on the right-hand side of the pitch in the United half then going on a gliding run with the ball working his way to the goal before delightfully chipping the ball past David De Gea to score. As this footage from the 1-1 draw resurfaced on Twitter once again, this gave lots of Liverpool fans the opportunity to admire the goal all over again.
amazed by this finish every time I see it. was literally the only way to beat de Gea from there

What do we think?
The Reds may not have won the match at Old Trafford on the night but the goal from Coutinho was something special to remember. Even though the Brazilian left the club back in the 2018 January transfer window, it’s good to see these Liverpool fans taking the time out to praise him for his goal against United.
