Liverpool have announced they have several new measures in place across their operations to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus and protect the health of their employees.
The club released an official statement in which they detail these measures via their website. Those supporters attending this weekend’s fixture versus Bournemouth have been informed that hand sanitisers and antibacterial handwash will be available in all washrooms.
They’ve also decided there will be no mascots on the pitch and have pleaded with any fans displaying symptoms of the virus to stay away and seek advice regarding self-isolation.

Parade is going to be cancelled isn’t it… Over a million people from all corners of the world descending on one city in close confines? Doubtful. Breaks my heart.

What do we think?
Aside from those who thought they were about to read something upsetting when they saw the post, it seems many are concerned by the prospect of a potential victory parade being cancelled when rather than if the Reds are crowned champions.

Safety must be the priority but you can understand why some of these fans would be disappointed if they were forced to celebrate their first-ever Premier League title victory in a subdued fashion.
